show them my toy airplane. I will then tell them that I have an object
that begins with D and have them guess again and then show them my
dolphin stuffed animal.

- Have students identify if any of them have D's in their names.
Practice:
The students will be practicing the letter Aa and Dd in their handwriting
workbooks. I will also pass out the ABC and 123 workbooks I made for
each student for extended practice. They will also be practicing words
with A and D in them.
Evaluation:
I will walk around the room after I demonstrate how to make Aa and Dd
to make sure the students are practicing.
Closing:
I will ask the students what kind of lines are used to make Aa and Dd
to review.
